February 3 thru 9

So, I am S*U*P*E*R excited about the sales items this week!  There are a lot of items you can use to show the ones you love what they mean to you on this upcoming Valentine’s Day!

Telling someone you love them is a special thing.  I know I don’t say it as much as I probably should.  I do tell my 2 monkey’s and my big gorilla each day at least once, but I try for a million.   It’s hard to show/tell someone all the time, yet still make it a special thing where both you as the giver and the person receiving don’t end up feeling like it’s just an automatic, “luv u”…. “yeah, luv u 2” type of message.  Get out there and break out the hugs and kisses (not the Hershey kind, although those are pretty good too!).  Maybe, be a bit sneaky and leave a note in your hubby/boyfriend/significant other’s vehicle for them to find when he/she are on their way to work.  Nothing gives a smile to know that at 5:45am when you are still rubbing the sleep from your eyes to know that you are loved.

Drop a little “i love u” into your child’s or Mr. Man’s lunch box.  Drop a note in the  mail to let a Parent or Grandparent know that you are thinking of them and that you love them no matter how old you get. Maybe, do a little shimmy?  Send a special email?  Drop a note on Facebook?  Even the tiniest effort can be rewarded with a HUGE smile.   And who knows?  You might just get a hug or smoochie back!  J

For this month’s class on February 14th what better projects than Valentine’s Day items!  We are going to make 2 Valentine’s and a little treat.  The first 2 ideas came from SU! and I got the last 2 card ideas from Patty Bennett (HERE).  I did tweak them a bit to make them my own, but I  think they turned out cute!
